For my Wild Studio residency at the Denver Art Museum in September 2025, I ran a stop motion demo every Saturday for four weeks. Visitors picked up a frame and drew on it.
The frames were 300+ photos of a basketball I shot around Colorado. Sequenced together, the drawings send the ball traveling through space and time, past doors that open and close along the way, slowly shaping who we are and what surrounds us.
The film is about movement, and how I can’t stop moving even after reaching a goal. You just keep going on to the next thing.
Thank you to every community member who stopped by and drew a frame, and to the Denver Art Museum.
